1) TN Govt passes GO on giving Incentive amount for workers working in fair price shops. 50ps per family card i.e 34 lakh rupees has been allotted by TN Govt. 2) Maximum punishment for dowry has been increased from 7 years to 10 years. 3) Minister Sengottayan confirms that no public exams will be ever conducted for 3rd, 5th and 8th std students. 4) Except for last semester everyone those who have paid fees for other semester exams are pass. 5) Piyush Goyal says there is no plan to privatise railways. 6) Online applications are accepted for 10906 vacant police posts in TN and applications are invited online from September 26th to October 26.
