I am Kumaran from Poombarai. Due to Nivar cyclone, wall, electric posts near my house has collapsed. We have told about it to panchayath head. Without concrete road we are struggling alot. Please help us if possible.
I am Vennila from Kallupatti. From last 10-15 days road work was on. Now it has been stopped. We dont know why. We dont know whether it comes under panchayath or public dept. We want to know about it.
Requested to give petition in Mettumalai gram sabha. Discussed about Construction on road, cleaning trashes properly, maintainance of colony houses. We told people about the benefits of attending gram sabha meetings. We also told them the importance of writing the decisions made in official books, and signing on it. We told them about NK radio and invited them to state conference.

Village roads with the population of 500 to 1000 are maintained by district other roads. Maintaining roads which connects to Hospitals, Govt offices, schools and main market places are maintained on priority basis. So your road will come under panchayath roads. If the road works stops in between you can approach BDO.
