I am Kamalajothi. The information on Gram sabha was good. Gram sabha happens four times in a year. January 26, May 1, August 15 and October 2nd. Anybody who is above 18 years and those who are eligible to vote can attend this meeting. They said that in gram sabha we have the power to remove TASMAC shops. We all should know that if we millworkers join together we can get what we want. Thank you for giving this information.

I am Sangeeth from Rendilaparayam. Yesterday i went to Anjalipetti to meet the mill workers. Many went for half night, so only 5 were there. i asked them whether do they have any problems, they said they are not facing any problem they are paying on time but earlier they are asking them to work for extra hours. After registering the complaint in TTCU they are asking them to work for only 8 hours. The company has fixed cameras in the lunch area so that they could hear our talk. I asked them to register it here. They said they will register it here. I made them to call and register their feedbacks. Thank you

I am Kamalajothi from North Madurai. I have formed 2 groups in Thennampatti area. This is a mill workers group. State head Divya and Poongodi came to visit the group on 23/04/2019. There were 20 members. She asked the uses of joining the union and what are the losses of not joining the union. The group said that, what and an individual cannot do, it can be done by the group. Not only that the mill workers should know their minimum wages. She also said that, If we need any money we can get the loan from our PF amount. We can continue the same PF number even if we are changing the mill. If we join union, we can get the benefits provided by the Govt. She gave many information and awareness to our people. The members said that the meeting was good and they are satisfied.

I am Veni. We visited Natthamadipatti. There we met 7 mill workers and formed a group and conducted the meeting. I shared about TTCU with them. I wrote to them to become members. I wrote that in your workplace you will be given respect only till you work. After you quit your job, they will make you roam for PF and other things. Having union support is always good. Even if you quit job, you can get your PF money. Then I organized for a meeting and told them that if we all join together if we face any problem in mill, we can talk to the head of the group and take action. Everybody cooperated with me. They named their group as Pachhaiyammal group. I spoke about PF and millwork timings. A woman named Kamala told that, if the shift starts at 3, we will be inside the mill by 2 O'clock. And she asked me anything can be done for this problem. I gave her TTCU kural number and asked her to call and register. Surely there will be a solution. 2-3 people complained that work timing in mill is too hectic. Earlier they registered a complaint which already has be rectified. So give this too as a complaint, it will also be rectified. Everyone spoke well and meeting went on well.

I am Poongodi from Sanarpatti. What is compromise board? Where is it located? How to reach it? Narrattor: Hello friends. If you women labors know the answer for this question, you can also answer this. The answer will be published along with the question. Can we get ready to answer rather than only asking the questions???!
