I am Thirumurugan from Kodaimalai union. Before 2004 when untouchability was high, Kodaimalai leader Jyothi along with 5 other women went fetch drinking water. 15 upper caste people poured petrol and tried to kill them. The case was filed. Govt advocate fought for us. The decision came that dalit women were not attacked. Later case was appealed in High court Madurai branch
