A question on how to get birth certificate has been asked. If your child is born at home it would have registered in anganwadi. If your child is born at Govt hospital, you can get the birth certificate at Govt hospital. If you have not got birth certificate for long years you can go to Sub Registrar office and fill the petition for birth certificate along with the date of birth and name of parents and child. Within 1 week they will give if its available. If its not registered there, they will give a document saying birth is not registered. Give that document to RDO and it will be sent to your VAO and direct investigation will be done and after that birth certificate will be given.
