I am Mariyammal from Ambedkar union. We are uniting women labours and working for them. We are helping them in getting card, scholarships, legal helps and many other helps we are doing. We have conducted a conference in Chennai for minimum wages. 15 people died in Mettupalayam by wall collapse. We have conducted protest for that. we have conducted protest to increase money in welfare schemes. we have done so many things. Women should come to a leadership level. I am a young widow. I dont want to be inside 4 walls. I want to work for this society. People will talk so many things about you and your caste. Overcome all that and women should be role models. I am head in widows union. I am working for them. I have faced so many obstacles but still i am continuing my work for the people.
