I am Vimala from Kondayampatti, Vadipatti taluk, Madurai. I work in Aditamilar democratic union. Since from my childhood i was interested in Social service. So i have joined social service. In these 10 months i learnt to talk to people. I used to shy in talking to others. I have studied till 12th. But in this 10 months i have learnt so many things. I learnt to talk on stage. I can talk bravely. We conducted general public meeting in Tirumangalam, i delivered vote of thanks there. I was bit scared at that time. Conference was conducted in Ottanchathiram. there I delivered Vote of thanks without any fear. I never knew what is Gram sabha. After joining union i got to know about what is gram sabha. 4 times in a year gram sabha meeting happens. People should know what is their basic need. During gram sabha we can write petition about our basic needs and submit. Only if the petitions are mentioned in decision note they will fulfill it. I give all these awareness to people. I went for legal training. It happened in Madurai IVS. I had different views about law. But from beginning it is happening as per the rule. I learnt many things in this training.
