I am Rakammal from Sathur Taluk, Viruthunagar. I am working as administrator in Semmalar union. Earlier i was part time worker. I used to register new members, get sign from VO, sending documents to collector office. I have also worked in IOB bank. I was getting Rs. 120 which was not sufficient and even work load was more. I had to go here and there for check passing work, buying things from outside. Mondays will be really difficult. Arranging vouchers was easy. But sectioning work was difficult.After coming to union I realised that how union is working for people, showing path to people. Now i have started to act on stage. That was a good experience in Ottanchathiram. I can speak without fear in mike. I can speak well but I had stage fear. Talking in field is really easy. But talking on stage was difficult. Happy women's day to all on behalf of Semmalar union.
