There is a special court for labours and it is comprised with 2-3 layers. one is company related issues. for examples when you are working in a company and you are facing any issues like salary or any issues. Such issues can be informed in Deputy commissioner of labour, i.e labour dept. Next is, if have any issues related to gratuity, you have to tell it to ACL. And when you file a complaint you can do it by yourself or through union. While complaining, they will call for a compromise discussion. As per gratuity is concerned, Deputy commissioner of labour will give the decision. The decision given by them will be the final one. If DCL says that a person should get Rs.25000 as gratuity, even supreme court cant change it. It can increase the money but cannot decrease the amount. It has the highest authority. If any of the party is not present, then automatically it will be transferred to labours court. It has some rules and regulations. Some times if the case is related to labours compensations, we can file case in labours court. It has a normal systems. We can file and fight case with the help of lawyers. If there are no lawyers, you or union can fight for you. Normally unions fight for workers. If there are more than 100 cases, it will be transferred to labour dispute. Judges will be appointed as per the number of cases.
