I am Poongodi from Sanarpatti. Today i went to Gopalpatti and met the mill workers there. I asked them a question, construction, teacher, drivers, tailors all of them have the union if they have any problem they will go to their union and get it solved. But you mill workers where will you go if you have a problem. They were speechless and had no answer. They said we will go to the mill. I asked them, you have a problem in mill itself where do you go? they didnt know the answer. I told them that we have a union for women workers. They all were very happy. They said they were not aware of union like this. I told them if you have any issue regarding PF money, Salary or any issues, you can solve it through the union. and they said they ill join as member in union and attend the monthly meeting. I was really happy. I believe that i can bring a good change in them.
