I am Veni from Pungammal. Normally all the workers are conducting strikes. Can a women worker conduct strike? Is law allowing for that? I request TTCU to clear this doubt

As per labours, there is no discrimination as male or female. As per law, both are same. So there is no law which says that only men can conduct strike and women should not. In the history of mill workers, women were the first to conduct the strike. So when a company violates the law or when the company is stopping your part of the money for 50-60 worker, or when they trouble you, you can protest and the law permits it. This can be done by informing the company or by not informing them too. So both is allowed. So discuss and doing it with the help of union will be even more helpful.
