Decision made in Nagalapuram: District Leprosy day to be celebrated on October 2nd every year as a remembrance for the great work done by Mahathma Gandhi. Dr DG Vinob explained the great work done by Mahathma Gandhi and from this Oct 2nd this will be implemented. We should treat leprosy-affected people with love and affection, and treat them equally. In each gram sabhas maximum 100 people were present. They dont have awareness about gram sabha. 7 days before gram sabha notice should be given or public announcements should be made, but present BDO and clerks didn't follow that. They said next time they will discuss about this.
