An important announcement. If a private company worker looses his life due to corona, provident fund is giving upto Rs.7 lakh. Private companies which has more than 20 workers should have been registered in PF. If workers working under such companies dies due to covid while working this compensation is given under Employees insurance scheme. This compensation has been increased from 6lakh to 7 lakh on April 28th. Regarding this employees provident fund said companies should pay 0.50% from their workers salary for their insurance. Other than corona if the death happens for any reason the family will get this compensation. If the workers dies while working after getting hospitalized also this compensation will be given. If the worker dies suddenly while working, even then they will get compensation. To get such compensation they should fill 50IF form and attach the required amount cheque and submit along with death certificate and nominee certificate. To get other benefits form 20 PF, form 10 pension should be filled. Within 1 week the amount can be received. The amount will be deposited directly to mentioned bank account of applicant. For the worker's family who is getting salary less than Rs.15000 will get equal amount of compensation. Minimum compensation will be Rs.2.5 lakhs. To get full benefits of it the PF applicant should have worked for minimum of 1 year in the company. If the worker has worked less than 1 year they will get amount equal to the PF amount saved. So workers you can get compensation for the death happens suddenly.

TN Govt has cancelled all the gram sabha meetings which were suppose to happen on January 26th Republic day. Still you can post your requests to our cell phone radio by pressing 3. Your registered requests will be sent to Dist collector on behalf of our radio. Due to corona gram sabhas has been cancelled on May 1st, August 15th, October 2nd by Govt. In this situation gram sabha which was suppose to happen on January 26th has also been cancelled. Govt has instructed Dist collector to ensure that no gram sabha should happen.

More than 300 garment workers will participate in it. Sujatha Modi our union head will talk in the meeting and many important things will be decided. Time duration to add child's name is birth certificate has been extended till 5 years by TN Govt. Birth should be registered within 21 days of birth and free birth certificate can be received. Birth certificate used to join kids in school, get voter ID, get passport and visa, it is also used as a proof for age certificate. After registering the birth within 21 days, parents can add their name in birth certificate within 12 months at free of cost. After 12 months they can register the name within 15 years by paying the late fees in birth and death certificate officer. Children who are born in last year January 1st, 2000, were allowed to register their names within 2014. But the time duration was extended for 5 more years and in last year December 31st the Govt asked to register the names. Since the extension got over by December, people struggled alot to register kids name in birth certificate. Rules for registration is, once you register the name you cannot change the name at any cost, so register the name of the kid only after final decision to concerned birth and death Certificate officer. To register the name if its a village panchayath submit it to VAO. If its a Municipality submit the form to health inspector, in cantonment, corporations submit the filled form to heath officer in primary health center, Govt school. The present time duration will not be extended says TN Govt. Requesting all to make use of this opportunity.

Insisting the Govt to free bus pass, regular work, respectful work, work place safety, regular legal safety for the people who lost their jobs and who are affected due to this corona lockdown from last 5 months, we PTS are conducting protest in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanjipuram and Chengalpet dist.
