Women's day wishes by callers

I am Smitha from Ambatur. Women's day wishes to all women. Please vote for the next forth coming election and make use of your voting rights. Some times we may know the election candidate and we vote for them. But sometimes we dont know the candidate but we vote for the party. But the candidate change the party on their own interest. How is this fair? This is injustice for people. Can people get a solution for this?

I am Vijayalakshmi. I am calling from Lakshmi amma's house. She is 80 years old. Both husband and wife are very old. They cannot cook because of old age and sickness. We have told once we get information from Govt we will start doing it. Many women are willing to join but they lack some proofs. So we have asked them to bring all the documents. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have come here to join PTS. Karpagam and Sheeba are filling the forms. 10-15 of us have joined. Please help us in getting welfare card at the earliest.

I am Geetha from Chinnambedu. On 5th April 2020, token was given from ration shop. They are giving Rice, lentils, sugar and Oil. Fathima has got Rs.1000 and rice, lentils and Sugar. Even that was not sufficient for people. This month they are not giving Rs.1000. Govt is giving rice and lentils. Dont know how will people live. Due to corona people are not going for work and there is no agriculture too. People are stuck at home. Dont know how will people manage with rice and lentils given by Govt. Govt should tell the solution for this.

Grievance: We were in Ayanavaram. Now we have been given house at Perumbakkam. In perumbakkam we dont have any facilities. There is no light facility, water is not supplied properly, electricity was not provided but recently they have provided the electric facility. We stay in Block number 65. Here we dont have light facility. Reply: Helen from Perumbakkam spoke that there is no facility like light, safety for women and no job. Perumbakkam is a resettlement area. Even in areas like Navalur, Kudapakkam basic facilities are lacking. All these areas come under resettlement area. In the area where you live resettlement area office will be there. All of you sign and give a petition. Head office for the same is in Chennai. Give petition in registered post. Even after that if they are not taking any steps then we can approach from PTS. Success story: I was living in Maduravoil. Our house was demolished and they brought us to Perumbakkam. When they brought us here, there was no water facility, no light facility, no police safety, no hospital, no bus facility, School children suffered alot. After telling about all these, PTS called and asked where do I live. I told we live in 158, Perumbakkam. they came and inquired with us. We told about the lack of facility. We cried to them saying we are suffering alot with kids in midst of mosquito problem. Then I asked in a meeting. Immediate next day 20 people came and inquired and gave us all the facilities. Thank to them.

I am Kumudha from Kallikuppam. I am member in PTS. Kani and Santhanamari are doing great work. They are being so helpful. So i would like to thank them first. They have helped us by giving us needed relief materials. Thanks for that. Things are becoming tough now. I have a request to Govt. I am a young widow. I have 2 kids. My husband was alcohol addict. Let my husband be the last to die because of alcohol. Atleast remaining people let not get addicted to alcohol. It will be good if its closed permanently.
