They discussed about corona impact and things we need to do.They also discussed about the thing to be done to get the relief materials for the affected ones. My wishes for their good work.
Saraswathi Interviewing Jeeva - She is a domestic helper from Kandigai area. Due to corona owners are asking not to come for work. Owners gave only 10 days salary. She says she is struggling for food without money. There are many people like me who are struggling. Saraswathi : There are so many Police in Kandigai area so we are not able to com out. Lock down has become a problem for us. Everyone says though we are safe in lock down but still their economy is getting affected.
I am Latha. Palani bharati mam told to inform if anyone doesnt have ration card but some people said they are giving provision with adhar card. But when we went their they said they will not give. There are 5 families in Perunkudi without ration card. Please help them.
I am KachhiFathima from Perungudi. Those who have ration card are getting Rs. 1000 and provisions. But there are people without ration card and there are people who have migrated from other places. They dont have any proofs so they wont get ration card. Even they are without ration cards. We cannot isolated them because they dont have ration card. So it will be great if we can make some arrangements that they will also get some benefits.

Karpagam Interviewing her Friend who is in Maldives About Corona over phone: He says both the Govt and the public are really supportive. And in Maldives isolation is very easy. People are obeying laws. There were 13 cases found but after quarantining them and people lock-downed themselves. Now infected people are recovering and no new cases has been reported. Food and other items is delivered in boat. In case of emergency Govt will help. He is working in maintenance and the work is going on smoothly without any effect.

Palanibharati gave her a proper solution. 3) Sudha has joined 5 new people to union. 4) It is informed in Perumbakkam that water will not be delivered for 10 days. 5) Due to Corona threat domestic helpers have been sent out of work on temporary basis. some houses has given the paid leaves.
I am Pusparani from Vadanimalai. On 26th Feb National seminar was conducted by PTS in Chengalpet kanchi hotel. Many women participated in the meeting and shared abut the problem shared by them in their area. Also shared about the help done by PTS. More than 200 women attended the meeting. It was organised very well under the leadership of Sujatha mam. Palani bharati, Dhanalakshmi, Santhanamari, R Sumathi attended it. Annadurai did the work very well. This is an unforgettable event.
I am Kamala from Chengalpet, Ambur Panchayath. A person insited and requested me to give gold because her husband was getting arrested. I gave her my ear rings. After sometime she said she didnt get it from me. I registered it in PTS. Palani and Dhanalakshmi mam took effort to get the gold back. Now after 10 months she gave me new jewelry. On 4th February seminar for domestic helpers was conducted in IGSA. Ms. Kalpana who is a professor in college spoke about women rights and about domestic helpers. Ms. Shweta did a survey on domestic helpers and poke very well about it. Neha spoke very well and Kalpana did the translation. Many people and PTS head Sujatha modi were present in the meeting. Sumati, Dhanalakshmi, Annadurai, Santhanamari were present. Hundreds of people were present. The meeting was very useful.
