I am Pushparani from Vadanimalai. Palani madam explained about the resettlement area. They have no facilities and the area is full of mosquitoes. Not only that Sumathi sis and Dhanalakshmi sis went directly and saw this. And there is zero hygiene in that area. One person's wife was not well and she was admitted in the hospital but the house was in her name so she had to sign only then she will get the house. Politicians and the Govt comes to us only during elections. But after the election, no one listens. If people are dumped in a place with no hygiene, they will suffer from disease.

I am Dhanalakshmi from PTS. On 9th December we had 2 meeting under Sumathi Palani and Elizabeth's leadership. One was in Nerkundram. 25 women workers participated in this meeting. Among them 7 are Garment factory workers. We discussed about rights, safety and benefits of joining PTS. We formed a 5 member committee. Asked them to listen and register in UK daily. Secondly, we had meeting in Kovilambakkam. This was conducted under Selvi's leadership. In this meeting 35 women participated. They are construction workers, domestic workers, 100days scheme workers etc. We told aout PTS and about GO for domestic workers. We told about PF ESI benefits.
