They gave 2 cards for renewal. They asked whether I can renew it immediately. I told them to join PTS first, only then its possible.

The answer to gt separate ration card if you are living in the same house. Newly married couple should be living in separate house. In case if 3 families are living separately in same house, property rights should be their in the name of each head of the family. Separate housing tax should be there. After that name deletion certificate should have been received from your area supply officer. Then apply for new ration card to the supply officer of your area. Documents required are - applicant house tax receipt, wedding invitation or child's birth certificate, address proof, adhar ID card, voter ID, permanent cell phone number and Passport size photo. File the petition and get petition registration receipt. After that revenue inspector will inspect and then your mobile number will get a message saying your application has been accepted. After the verification of supply officer you will get a message in mobile saying your ration card is being printed. Within 1-2 months you will get your ration card.
