I am Vimala. construction workers are given Pongal gifts. The worth of these gifts will around Rs.300. To collect that people are going leaving their 1 days wages of Rs.700- 800. Including transportation the amount will be Rs.900. So people are hesitating to go. I have heard that even the rice is ration rice. This Govt is not giving what we are asking, they are giving what we have not asked. As Pushparani said the amount will go to TASMAC shop. During corona we struggled alot and gave petition to give Rs.5000. Thats time Govt gave Rs.1000. So far Govt never gave Rs.2500 for Pongal. o we should think why the Govt is giving this money. Forget about happiness, due to this Rs.2500 many families are facing issues.
