Karpagam Interviewing Bobby - Bobby is from Perumbakkam. She is a road side Idly seller. Now due to corona she is not allowed to sell. She can only sell the parcels. But to give in parcel she needs plastic bags, cover and to buy that only men can go and buy that. But Police is not allowing to go. Even if she buys all that she can have shop open till 1pm only and that a loss for her. Price of vegetables, milk has increased, ration rice is full of worms. All her business i down. Even gas cylinder she is not able to afford. Rs. 1000 is not sufficient. People who has welfare board are getting some benefits but she doesnt know how to get welfare board card. But she has registered in it. Since she doesnt have card, she is not given any benefit. She says Govt is giving provisions for Rs. 500 but she cannot afford for Rs. 500. She says it will be good if Rs. 10000 is deposited in ration card holders account. They can manage with that.
