I am Vimala from Mogappair. Today domestic helpers seminar was conducted in Egmore IGSA. We attended the meeting. All the Heads were present in the meeting. Suajatha from PTS, Neha from ILO, Henry sir, Kalpana, Geetha from Bangalore, Rajesh from Bangalore, were present. They spoke about rights and identity of women. Once you come out of house you will get the courage to face society. problems are everywhere and we should the one who questions it. Henry sir taught us about our rights and laws. He asked to take help of free legal aid in case we need any help. Importance of union was explained. Kalpana mam spoke very well in Tamil. She spoke about women's identity. Our work in our identity. She spoke very well. Using welfare in proper way. Geetha from Bangalore spoke about Our identity is not slave, we are workers. We are not machines, we are human beings.
