K: What type of work do you do do and what work is your husband doing? How many kids do you have? R: I am working as tailor. My husband has got retired from ration shop. I have 2 kids. elder one is going for work and last month younger one also started going for work. K: How did you came to know about PTS? R: I didnt knew anything earlier. K. Lakshmi has joined me to this union. After coming here i learnt so many things. PTS gave me courage and strength. I request that everyone should be benefitted with PTS. K: Ok. Hoe long you have been as incharge? What kind of meeting have you organised in your area? R: From past 7-8 years i am working as incharge. Whatever is the problem in my area, i come and share with Santhanamari mam. She came to our area and helped us. We have given flood relief materials. I have joined 50-60 people to union. People are asking for road facility and patta document for their house. We said we will organise for it. K: We have given a book to domestic helpers in your area. Are the people using it? R: Yes they are writing it regularly. K: Can you share the medical health check up camp experience. 17 people from your area has participated in the check up. R: Just because i am part of PTS, i got this facility. I took 17 people. Good food was provided to them. Health check up was also good. Today we got the results of the tests. I will give the results to concerned people, they will consult to their doctors. K: Are you and people from your area are listening to UK? R: Yes. Few people are listening. Some are not.
