She is asking me, how did I come to know about Union and from when i am a member in union. Its been 10-12 years that i am here in AKR nagar. After coming to AKR nagar i joined union. Its been more than 10 years that i have joined union. I have told to many people about union and joined many people in this union. Earlier i was really innocent and didnt know how to talk. I am a domestic helper. I didnt know how to ask for proper salary for my work. I used to think that if i ask more what will they say. Then Santhanamari madam sent people who work in office told you should ask this much for 1 hour job. Otherwise you will not able to run the family. Thats how she trained us. Everyone in union taught us about this. With their training we grew up step by step,. Thanks to Sujata mam. Even in my mother's house they didnt train me all these. But the union and staff has taught me all this. Whether rain or summer, they will call me and tell me that there is a meeting happening in this place, come and attend. I have never been to any place. But now i have been to Delhi. SUjatha mam held my hand and took me there. I used to get scared of her earlier. But she held my hand and took me to Delhi. I used to sit next to her. She used to tell me, dont be scared, even i am like you. Only after joining union. i became bold like this. She took me to Delhi and i gave a interview there. I am really proud. So i suggest everyone to be like this and join union. Urimai kural makes me happy. Recently a camp was conducted in Sankaran kovil. I would like to thank Santhanmari madam and Sujatha mam.
