Mala: Hello madam. D: Where do you work? M: I work in Celebrity. I am member in GAFWU for the past 8 years. D: ALright. SO you were member in union for the past 8 years. What difference do you feel when you were working 8 years back and now after joining the union? M: We are getting respect in work place. They have never given increment. We were given minimum wage and 2 years arrears, 5 years Casual leave. Just like this we can list down many things done by union. D: Oh is it!!! Now what are you doing?? M: I was working in the company. we protested for bonus on 14/10/17. So they suspended 14 workers. Because i am member in GAFWU, i am getting salary even though I am at home. Internal investigation in On and the case is still in process. I am at home and getting the salary. Because of being in Union i have got this benefit. From past 1.5 years monthly i am getting salary. D: Ok mala. Have you got any other benefit through union? M: We have got CL, salary, Arrear. D: You are a member in welfare board and you have a card. Did you get any benefit from it? M: We got the card. Last year they helped me in getting money. D: Once your case gets over, what are you planning to do? M: We are asking for work in Celebrity. If they give work we will do that work, otherwise we will do GAFWU work. D: OK Mala. Thank you so much
