I am Dhanalakshmi from GAFWU. Many in charges have given their interviews in UK. Our union is in Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chennai and Thiruvannamalai. we work on the rights, safety and legal related things of workers. We have found many solutions for their problems. We have got welfare membership for all our union members and given them the card. With the help of card we have secured their kids school fees, marriage, and their pension. We have done many things, among those especially i want to quote this incident. Periyathayi from Chrompet who is the first member of our union. We have applied for her pension in 2011. But she was not giving the pension and faced many problems. We filed a case in high court and fought for her. She was given the pension along with the arrears in 2018. Dear friends, even you can achieve many great things.
