Uma: We were living in Thiruverkadu earlier. V: What work are you doing now? U: I am working as a construction worker. V: How long you have been doing this work? U: From past 20 years i am doing this work. V: What was your salary in earlier days? U: Rs.75. V: Now? U: Now its Rs.500. V: What was the cost of living during those days? U: The cost of living was less during those days. ANd we were doing good. But now the cost of living is high. Though we are getting Rs.500, we dont have anything left in hand. Finding things very difficult. Just that we work in Hot sun. We dont feel like buying few things now. Money is not sufficient for us. Cost of things have gone up and we are finding it difficult. We are working in hot sun and earning money but we are not able to buy some things. They said they will give patta for the house but till now they have not givne it to us. Finding it difficult. Whether to build the house or not? do we have to stay here or ot go somewhere else? We dont know anything. We are scared. V: What is your opinion about this election?
