I am Pushparani from Vadanimalai. Interview of Ms. Sujata modi has been taken in Urimai kural. She has told how much effort she has taken for garment workers. She has started the union for them in 2007 for the betterment of garment workers. If you are a member in a union, export company willl always create a problem. Those who are working in export garment workers, they are forced to work extra time without OT money, not paid properly etc. Sujata modi handled this and work very well among garment workers. We should appreciate her effort for doing so much for women. Not all can do all these. SHe has done so many things. We were very happy to hear her talk. Thank you mam.
