I am Pushparani from Vadanimalai. On 26th at 10am gram sabha started in Vadanimalai Panchayath Office. Only 20 women participated in this. and 22 men participated. The decision taken were, ban and remove plastic completely, due to sewage leake in some places the number of mosqitoes has increased so they decided to put medicine to kill mosquitoes, replace the lid of drinking water well, increase the wage of Panchayath sanitary workers and they should clean the roads every day. Many migrant workers are given jobs in Hotel in Vadanilai. There are many educated locals who are without jobs. SO they decided to go and talk to the hotel owners on this. Reduce wasting drinking water.
