I am Jamuna from Morai. I am working in PTS. GRam sabha is happening in our Morai area. Before joining to PTS i was unaware of Gram sabha. We have given many petitions in Gram sabha. Once we spoke about salary not given properly to sanitary workers. And we have also given a complaint that trashes are being cleaned properly. If you see Kanniyamma nagar, the entire area will be filthy. There wont be any trash bins in a place. On behalf of PTS we have given letter requesting for trash bins. After that they kept a trash bin. And after that we gave a complaint that trashes are being cleaned up on regular basis. Now they have kept trash bins where people are dumping trashes and once 2 days they are collecting the trash and cleaning the place. Only now Kanniyammal Nagar looks clean. Earlier everywhere people used to throw trashes. With the help of PTS we gave the petition and now Kanniyamma nagar has become clean area.
