As you all know the the labour unions of this country have decided to shout anti-government slogans on 22nd May. It has also been decided that the labourers would shout anti-government slogans even if this is a lockdown situation, as they did it earlier. That time they stood up at their homes and shouted such slogans. This time as well the aware people who are against the government's decisions are ready to repeat that. At present Mohammad Tauqir, a fighting worker, is with me to share his views. "Welcome Tauqeerjee! What would be the demands of the labourers who are going to participate in this protest/movement?" Tauqeer: "see, the poor laborers only receive the wages for their hard work. They contribute through their blood and sweat to the factory owners to become rich and prosperous. It is the company owners' responsibility to look after them during this Corona crisis, understand their crisis and help them to overcome. If they do not do so then they would harm them by doing strikes. They are suffering with their family members and small kids." Hashmat: "But the UP Government had fixed their working ours for 12 hours/day that was later reduced up to usual 8 hours/day after the labour unions put pressure and after the cases got filed into the Court. In Karnataka first the government hired trains to send back the labourers to their homes but soon after a meeting with the builder-lobby they forcefully hold those laborers in the state". Tauqeer: " The matter is that our Rahul Gandhi, Soniya Gandhi, Priyanaka Gandhi and all the big leaders of Congress are standing and fighting for the rights of the laborers. They can even sacrifice their lives for we, the laborers because the laborers are the pride of our country. We have to make them strong, their families happier...then only our India can become a super power."
